Registration
Registration for the Fall 2009 season is now open online. You can choose the Fall only option ($75 per player) or the Fall/Spring option ($135 per player).
Reminder: All coaches and assistant coaches must register themselves and are required to complete the online background check this Fall season regardless of when the last one was completed.
Fall 2009 Registration is open from Saturday, May 16th thru Friday, August 21st for U5 to U18 and adult league. Registration for Ripples (3 yr old program) is opens on Saturday, May 16th - Space is LIMITED for the Ripples program and will shut down when we reach the maximum capacity.
No child is placed on a team until payment is received for the registration and therefore could be placed on a waiting list. ALL payments are due by Saturday, August 28th.

NRS Program Information
Recreational Soccer - 8 Weeks
This is a D-IV recreation league for children age 4 – 18 completely run by parent volunteers. This is a non-competitive league, meaning team standings and scores are not tracked. Players are randomly placed on age and gender (U14 and up co-ed) appropriate teams. All games are played on Saturday with practices held Monday – Friday. All players are guaranteed to play 50% of the game. Players must provide their own shin guards, ball, and soccer cleats.

Ripples – 8 weeks
New program for children that are 3 years old by July 31st but will not turn 4 by Aug 1st. Players must be out of diapers. The sessions will be only on Saturdays at 9:00 and 10:00am. Each Saturday players would participate in 30 minutes of skills/ fun games and 10 minutes of a simulated soccer scrimmage/game. Instructors/mentors will be provided by the league, but parent volunteers are still welcome and needed to help. Players would receive a t-shirt but would provide their own socks, shorts, shin guards and a size 3 ball.

Stones River Futbol Club
This is a DIII – DI competitive league for U9 – U18. Select soccer players need to be committed players seeking to improve their playing skills and knowledge. Want a higher level of play and competition. Playing in a club environment creates a spirited and supportive network of players, coaches, and parents.

This is a free Goal Keeper Training Course offered to all SRFC/NRS players in U9 and above that are currently registered in the league.

Mentors
| Mentor | U14 - U18 with D3 or higher playing experience. The mentor is to assist NRS coaches in the proper technique of ball mastery, foot skills, passing, general laws of the game and general tactics of the game. Mentors are there to demonstrate and to assure the coach that proper technique is being taught. They are not to be used to run practices but to assist in running the coach’s practices. They will also lead Open Academy groups and Ripple sessions |
| Jr Mentor | U13- U14 with D3 or higher playing experience. Assist mentor for Ripples and Open academy. May help with teams base on DOC or VP approval |
| Prementor | Volunteer U11 - U12 with D3 playing experience. Assist mentors with Ripples and Open Academy |
